Anytime you're doing a project that requires removing your original u-bolts, it's a good idea to replace them. In my case, I could have used the old Maverick u-bolts and nuts but since they were not expensive I went with new ones. I bought them on the internet from Espo but you might be able to find a local shop that specializes in springs or rearends and have a set made. You probably won't be able to just call a parts store and order them but call around. The bolts were torqued to 40 ft. lbs. and the shocks were torqued to 30 ft. lbs. Next –––>
